Operation Sindoor: Convene all-party meet, Deepender urges Centre
Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda today urged the Centre to convene an all-party meeting and a special session of Parliament to discuss the prevailing situation.
“Now that the ceasefire has been declared, the Centre is requested to call an all-party meeting in which the Prime Minister himself should be present. Along with this, a special session of Parliament should be called so that the countrymen can express their gratitude to Indian Armed Forces and a joint message against terrorism can be sent to the entire world,” said Deepender.
Accompanied by former Education Minister and Congress MLA Geeta Bhukkal, Rohtak MP attended several programmes in the Jhajjar Assembly segment.
“The entire world knows that Pakistan nurtures terrorists and is not worthy of trust. The Opposition gave full support to the Armed Forces and the Government of India following Pahalgam terror attack,” he added.
He said by calling a special session of Parliament, the Centre should put its point-wise views on all aspects, including Pahalgam attack, Operation Sindoor and ceasefire declaration by the US.
“The government should also come up with the steps taken to root out terrorism in future,” he added.
Earlier, Deepender laid the foundation stone of Dada Bhaiya and Mata Mandir in Shekhupur Jatt village. After this, he went to the residence of former Jhajjar MLA late Hariram Valmiki and paid tribute to the departed soul.
