The Common Entrance Test (CET) for admissions to various paramedical courses — undergraduate courses such as BSc (nursing), BPT, post basic nursing; and post-graduate courses such as MSc (nursing), NPCC, and MPT — was conducted by Pt BD Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, for the 2025-2026 academic session on Sunday.
A total of 21,956 candidates had registered for the examination, for which 76 examination centres in various government institutes across the state were established.
Around 20,400 candidates appeared for the test, the results of which are expected to be declared soon.
Thirty-three flying squads, comprising senior faculty members, were formed to carry out surprise inspections across centres.
Vice-Chancellor Dr HK Aggarwal visited several examination centres in Rohtak to review arrangements.
“To ensure the fair and transparent conduct of the examination, robust security measures — including biometric identification, frisking, metal detectors, CCTV surveillance, and videography — were implemented. Each examination centre was staffed with a centre superintendent, deputy superintendent, and a senior faculty member as university observer, in addition to two security personnel, one male and one female,” Dr Aggarwal said.
