Over 23 lakh kids given polio drops in Haryana

Chandigarh, June 19

The first Sub-National Immunisation (SNID) round of Pulse Polio 2021-22 began in 13 districts today in which 13.40 lakh children were administered anti-polio drops.

The children, who were not immunised during the booth activity on the first day will be administered polio vaccine drops on June 20 and 21 through visit of house-to-house teams in high-risk areas.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
