The District Police Bhiwani, in collaboration with the Seth Meghraj Jindal Trust, organised an anti-drug awareness marathon in Siwani town of Bhiwani district today. Around 2,000 athletes and individuals from various walks of life participated in the event, aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.

As part of its efforts to combat drug abuse, Bhiwani Superintendent of Police (SP) Nitish Agarwal has initiated an extensive awareness campaign across the district. Following his directives, Siwani Police Station, led by DSP Siwani Jai Bhagwan, organised the marathon.

In his address, DSP Bhagwan highlighted the devastating impact of drugs on individuals, families, and society. “Drug abuse not only destroys a person’s health but also shatters families and communities. Our goal is to guide the youth toward a healthier and more constructive life,” he stated. He further noted that 26 personnel from the District Police Bhiwani are actively engaging the youth in sports activities across 78 villages, promoting a drug-free lifestyle.
