Over 30 shots fired at music company's office in Karnal, panic grips Alpha City

Panic gripped Alpha City in Karnal early Wednesday morning after unidentified youths opened 30 to 40 rounds of fire at a music recording company's office. The incident took place around 4 am when two-three bike-borne miscreants reportedly fired multiple shots at the office. Teams of the STF, CIA-1, CIA-2 and Sadar Police rushed to the spot to probe the matter.
Eyewitnesses said that continuous gunfire created chaos in the area, with residents jolted awake with the sound of the bullets. The building’s facade and surrounding walls were riddled with bullets, indicating the intensity of the firing.
The accused fled soon thereafter, leaving behind fear and tension among local residents. Police teams reached the site and cordoned off the area. SP Ganga Ram Punia also visited the spot and reviewed the situation.
Sub-inspector Manojar Kumar from CIA-2 said that police had started investigations. “We are examining CCTV footage from nearby buildings and trying to identify the suspects. The motive behind the firing is yet to be ascertained,” he said. He added that no extortion call was received by the owner of the company office or others. No injuries or casualties have been reported.
