Over 4K participate in Haryana Police Academy yoga session

In preparation for the 11th International Yoga Day on June 21, a large-scale yoga training session was held at Vachher Stadium, Haryana Police Academy (HPA), Madhuban, with nearly 4,000 trainees, staff members and officials participating in the standard yoga protocol.

The event was graced by Dr Arshinder Singh Chawla, Director of HPA, who actively joined the session as the chief guest. The training programme was jointly organised by the Ayush Department, Haryana Yoga Commission and Patanjali, with the support of HPA.

Addressing the participants, Dr Chawla highlighted the global significance of International Yoga Day, stating, “The purpose of celebrating this day is to raise awareness about yoga across the world and inspire people to adopt a healthy lifestyle, both mentally and physically.”
