Following complaints about the sale of adulterated and spurious products of daily use, including tea, spices, milk and ghee, the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) of the Haryana Government has constituted a committee to launch a special drive against offenders.

The committee will comprise Subhash Chander, Designated Officer, FDA, Panchkula, Shyam Lal Mahiwal, Food Safety Officer, Panipat, and Arvinderjeet Singh, Food Safety Officer, Hisar. DK Sharma, Joint Commissioner, FDA, will monitor the working of the committee, an order issued by Lalit Siwach, FDA Commissioner, said.
The committee will submit its reports on a weekly basis, the order further said.
