Panipat MC officials told to intensify clean-up measures, remove stray animals from roads

Panipat Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Pankaj Yadav has directed JBM, a private company that is engaged in the door-to-door collection of garbage in the town, to increase the number of vehicles for the task and also directed MC officials to intensify cleanliness works in the city.

Yadav, during the meeting with MC officials, discussed issues related to sanitation, stray animals, speedy resolution of problems received in Samadhan Shivirs, etc.

The Commissioner directed officials to adopt proper mechanisms for the cleanliness work in the city. Taking a strict note of stray animals roaming on roads and highways in the MC area, the Commissioner directed officials to work to pull up their socks and remove them from roads and send them to gaushalas at the earliest.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC)-cum --Commissioner directed -officials to resolve the problems of the people on priority. He directed officials to look into complaints regarding ownerships.

He told them to adopt strict steps and expedite the collection of property tax and other dues. Mani Tyagi, Joint Commissioner; Arun Bhargawa, Deputy Municipal Commissioner; Puneet Kumar, Superintending Engineer; Chief Account Officer Rajesh Garg and other officials were present during the meeting.
