MP Ramesh Kaushik was the chief guest at the programme at the Gohana railway station. Congratulating the Gohana residents, Kaushik said Rs 25 crore would be spent on the redevelopment of the railway station. The station would be beautified and a waiting room, escalators on each platform, lifts for elderly and specially-abled persons, free Wi-Fi facility, shopping counters and station gate would be constructed. All advanced facilities would be provided to the passengers, he added.

Kaushik applauded the schemes launched by the BJP-led Central government for the people and said earlier the Railways was spending money to develop only stations of the big cities, but after 2014, PM Modi’s government had launched the Amrit Bharat Station scheme to develop stations across the country.
