The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) has granted the third renewal of permission to Baba Khetanath Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Patikara, for 100 undergraduate seats in the BAMS course for the academic session 2025–26.

The approval, issued under Section 29 of the NCISM Act, 2020, was conveyed by D. Siddalingesh M Kudari, president of the Medical Assessment and Rating Board for the Indian System of Medicine. The commission confirmed that the competent authority had approved full permission for UG and PG seats at government and aided colleges that were earlier denied or permitted with reduced intake.

However, the college has been directed to address the shortcomings mentioned in the previous permission letter dated July 24 and submit a compliance report by December 31. Failure to do so may result in the permission process for the next academic session being put on hold.
