Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij said that some people were conspiring to break the party organisation in Ambala Cantonment and cautioned party workers not to get instigated.

He was addressing party workers during a meeting held for the preparation for Tiranga Yatra in Ambala Cantonment on Sunday evening.

Vij said, “In Ambala Cantonment, some people are conspiring to break the organisation, but dedicated party workers should not react emotionally and must not give any reply. We must continue to do our work, maintain our balance and not allow the Opposition to succeed. We believe in our strength and no one will be able to break the party. We will give our lives for the BJP, but we will not allow anyone to break the party. We must maintain our unity.”

Vij said that a Tiranga Yatra would be organised in Ambala Cantonment on August 13. He urged party workers to ensure maximum participation in the yatra.

He also appealed to party workers that under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme, the Tricolour should be hoisted at the highest point of every house.

He also criticised the Congress and alleged, “Partition was along religious lines. Congress members signed the Partition proposal agreeing that Hindus and Muslims could not live together, leading to the division of the country. Although Mahatma Gandhi had once said that Partition would happen over his dead body, but Partition occurred, and people were left to their fate. The Congress had no plan for the aftermath. Riots broke out, women were assaulted and nearly 10 lakh people lost their lives.”
