People feeling insecure under BJP’s regime in Haryana, alleges Anurag Dhanda
Kurukshetra, July 10
Aam Aadmi Party’s senior state vice-president Anurag Dhanda today said the law and order situation had deteriorated in Haryana and people were feeling insecure under the BJP’s rule.
Speaking to mediapersons, Anurag Dhanda said, “A ransom gang is active in seven districts of Haryana and in some cases, the victims don’t even approach the police as they are afraid of losing their lives.”
“A sense of panic has gripped businessmen, senior officials and high-profile people. The government has failed to find the main gang behind the firing incidents and the ransom calls. The Chief Minister hasn’t been able to control the situation and there is no full-time Home Minister in the state,” he added.
Law & Order hit
The situation can be gauged from the fact that even policemen and BJP leaders are not secure under BJP’s rule. Recently, a policeman was killed and on Monday night, a firing incident was reported at a BJP leader’s house in Ladwa. There have been incidents in Rohtak and Hisar too. —Anurag Dhanda, Senior state vice-president, AAP
Targeting the CM, Dhanda, said, “Anil Vij has the experience of the Home Department but the Chief Minister doesn’t want to make him the Home Minister due to his personal insecurity. The government should ensure the security of people of Haryana, otherwise they will ensure that the BJP’s rule comes to an end.”
About the preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections, Aunrag said, “The party is ready to contest the elections in all 90 Assembly segments of Haryana. A Jan Samvad programme has been launched to discuss the local issues and get to know about the problems of the people. Soon, the party will start holding rallies to intensify party’s election campaign. AAP has emerged as the third alternative after the BJP and the Congress in Haryana and we are confident that the people of Haryana will form the AAP government in the Assembly elections.”
Replying to a query, he said, “The BJP has changed its CM and the state president but it will not help the party in the elections. Resentment is brewing among the BJP leaders because senior leaders are being ignored. The BJP is trying to use different communities for its vote bank but the people of Haryana are aware of the BJP’s tactics.”
AAP state vice-president Balbir Singh said, “The BJP government has been making announcements just to misguide the public. Corruption is rampant in the government departments. The government should take action against the corrupt officials and save the state from being looted.”
AAP’s district president Vishal Khubber and other leaders were also present on this occasion.
