The poor and youth are facing problems because of wrong policies of BJP governments and there is no money either in the market or with people belonging to weaker sections of society.
This was alleged by Deepender Hooda, Congress Working Committee member and former MP, while addressing a “dhanyawad samaroh” at Kharkhoda in the district today. He thanked people for re-electing Jaiveer Singh as MLA from Kharkhoda.
He said the youth had been facing unemployment for the last five years for want of a proper initiative on the part of the state government. He alleged that there had been retrenchment by leading industries, including Maruti and Honda, and other industries were facing closure.
Deepender chided the BJP governments in the state and at the Centre over demonetisation, alleging that as a result, the poor had become poorer and the rich richer. “The growth rate has come down from between 7 per cent and 8 per cent to 4.5 per cent because of wrong policies,” he added.
