People will oust BJP from power this time: Cong MLA Chiranjeev
Rewari, August 19
With the announcement of the Assembly elections, local Congress MLA Chiranjeev Rao has intensified his public contact programme.
On Sunday, he had called a workers’ meeting at his residence and announced that he would file nomination papers on September 9, while on Monday, he went to his ancestral village Saharanwas and took blessings of the elders.
“Saharanwas village has always blessed us. My grandfather Rao Abhay Singh, my father and former minister Capt Ajay Singh Yadav and now I have become the MLA from Rewari, in which Saharanwas village has an important contribution. No matter what the circumstances, Saharanwas has always ensured our victory. We can never forget its favour,”
said Chiranjeev.
After Saharanwas, the MLA reached Ladhuwas village and addressed a public meeting there too. He launched a scathing attack on the BJP government stating that it had failed on all fronts.
“The BJP is scared after the results of Lok Sabha elections were out. Even after changing the Chief Minister, it could not change the results of Haryana. After that, the BJP government made so many announcements but these will also not work in the Assembly election as the people have made up their mind to oust the BJP from power this time,” said Chiranjeev. —TNS
