The PGIMS nurses, including the nursing officers and senior nursing officers, have decided to suspend their strike and join their duties from Saturday.

A decision to this effect was taken after a delegation of the striking nurses met Prof Anita Saxena, Vice-Chancellor of Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHS), Rohtak, on Friday. The UHS Vice-Chancellor assured the nurses that their concerns would be addressed, following which the association decided to suspend the strike which started on August 7. — TNS
