A pile-up occurred on the National Highway-44 near Oasis Tourist Resort on Friday afternoon when a vehicle in Haryana BJP president Mohan Lal Badoli’s convoy "suddenly applied brakes" while taking a turn. The abrupt piling-up of vehicles caused minor injuries to a couple who were going towards Faridabad. The accident also left four vehicles damaged, including a police escort vehicle.

When contacted, BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoi initially denied it but later admitted that there had been a pile-up of vehicles.

Vishnu Miter, SHO, Sadar, said there was no casualty in this piling up. “Three-four vehicles were involved in the accident, including an escort vehicle of the convoy,” he added.

The injured couple told mediapersons that the driver of escort vehicle suddenly applied brakes, after which other vehicles collided with each other.
