A team of the local administration conducted an inspection at plywood factories in Yamunanagar and Jagadhri districts to stop the use of subsidised urea in plywood industries. The action came after the local administration received complaints from farmers that a number of plywood factories were using subsidised urea to prepare ‘glue’, which is used as an adhesive to make ply, board and related products. — TNS
