Police action to continue against spies: Saini

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday affirmed that police action was being taken against people involved in espionage, and it would continue in the future as well in the interest of national security.

The CM was interacting with the media after the inauguration of the Rishikulam Wellness Centre at the Seva Sadhna Evam Gram Vikas Kendra at Samalkha.

Responding to a question related to the Pahalgam attack, the CM said "our brave soldiers succeeded in eliminating the terror threat within just three hours".

Earlier, he inaugurated the wellness centre and urged citizens to make use of the facilities at the centre and to incorporate yoga, ayurveda, and naturopathy into their daily lives to promote a healthy lifestyle.

He said the centre was not only a significant step toward rural development but also strengthened Sanatan traditions. He also announced a grant of Rs 51 lakh to the institution.

Saini said the country needed two main things: secure borders and healthy bodies. The centre was also promoting and encouraging farmers to adopt natural farming, he said.

The CM appealed to farmers to avoid excessive use of pesticides and move toward organic and natural farming.

He highlighted that the state-of-the-art skill centres were also being run at the kendra, where around 450 youth were receiving training and being provided employment opportunities in various sectors.

Saini emphasised that youth played a vital role in building a developed India, and the centre was equipping them with necessary guidance and resources. He also said every individual associated with the institution had the responsibility of contributing actively to take the organisation to greater heights.

Pawan Jindal, president, Madhav Jan Seva Nyas, said the wellness centre would serve as a cornerstone for those who wished to live a stress-free life. BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli, Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda, MLAs Pramod Vij and Manmohan Bhadana, among others, were present.
