Police identify person who uploaded letter against Jind SP

The Hisar police, which started investigation into the FIR registered against the social media page ‘Jind Breaking News’ in the case of spreading the four-page letter containing allegations against the Jind SP on social media, revealed that they have identified the person who created this social media page.

Hisar SP Deepak Saharan informed here today that this page was created by a resident of Jind — identified as Sunil Kapoor. He said that they were investigating the matter further. Notably, the FIR was registered with the Jind police on the complaint of Jind mahila police station SHO Mukesh Rani. The FIR stated that ‘Jind Breaking News’, a facebook page had uploaded a four-page letter containing allegations of sexual exploitation by policewomen to target the Jind SP.

Though the matter of allegations against the SP was handed over to Fatehabad SP Astha Modi, the separate FIR was registered against the facebook page. The FIR was transferred to Hisar police for a fair probe.
