The Nuh police has raided alleged cow smuggler hideouts and recovered around 100 kg of beef, two motorcycles and two cattleheads. The accused managed to flee from the spot. Two FIRs have been registered.
The police received information about two unidentified men who were transporting prohibited meat on motorcycles to sell in the Dhulawat hill area. Seeing a police team at the spot, the two youths abandoned their motorcycles and fled.
In another raid at Jamalgarh village under Punhana police station, the police saved two cattleheads from a hideout. The accused took advantage of darkness and fled. They were identified as Wasim, Tareef and Ayub. An FIR has been registered against them.
“Cases have been registered and our teams are conducting raids to nab the accused,” said a spokesperson of the Nuh police.
