Police thwart robbery plan in Manesar
Gurugram police arrested seven miscreants who were planning a robbery at a company in Manesar. The accused were caught while holding the company’s security personnel hostage at gunpoint. Police recovered a country-made pistol, one cartridge, a motorcycle, an auto rickshaw, a hammer, and an iron cutting blade from their possession.
According to the police, the Crime Unit of Manesar received a tip-off about a robbery being planned behind an abandoned kiosk in Sector-11, Manesar. The miscreants had parked a CNG auto and a motorcycle in front of the kiosk. Acting on this information, a team led by Sub Inspector Lalit Kumar raided the spot and arrested all seven individuals.
The arrested men were identified as Rinku, Sonu, Rinku alias Kalu, Rajender, and Badal, all residents of Jattari village, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, and Nanak Chand and Reshampal alias Golu, from Amokhari village near Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. An FIR has been registered against them at the IMT Police Station, Manesar.
