Tejinder Singh Teji, member of Pond and Waste Water Management Authority, Haryana, visited the site of a pond situated in Sasauli village of Municipal Corporation Yamunanagar-Jagadhri (MCYJ).

He reviewed the ongoing development works related to this pond and was accompanied by officials of the MCYJ.

He said that the residents of Sasauli area were troubled due to the overflow from this pond. So, the Pond Authority took cognisance and gave instructions for its renovation.

According to the information available, after the instructions of the Pond Authority, the work of beautification of this pond is on under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner Ayush Sinha. The people present at the site of the pond expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and Chairman of the Pond Authority Nayab Singh Saini and said that now their area would also become clean and beautiful.

They also thanked Tejinder Singh Teji, who has been visiting them from time to time and taking cognisance of their problems.

Appealing to the people, Teji said that ponds were their ancient heritage and it was their responsibility to preserve those.
