Education standard not up to mark

  • The DC was surprised when she went to a classroom where the teacher was talking about Sanskrit, but the students were going through the books and copies of other subjects, after which she directed action against him.
  • In another classroom, the Deputy Commissioner asked a student to read a word written on the blackboard. But the student read it wrong.

She directed the DEO to take disciplinary action against the school head and two teachers in this regard. She also told the DEO to submit a report to her about the action taken in the matter.

“It is the duty of the school staff and teachers to ensure cleanliness on the school premises. They must review the cleanliness progress, but the condition here is not up to the mark. Toilets were unhygienic and no one can use these,” said the DC.

Interacting with teachers, she said the parents send their wards to get proper education, but the environment here is not appropriate, and students cannot study in this scenario,” she said.

She warned the teachers to get the flaws rectified. “I will come again in the school to check if the changes had been made,” she said.
