Potholes pose risk to Faridabad commuters
With potholes appearing on almost all roads, some of them have become small craters as the road has caved in after the recent rains. A big pothole that has come up right at the centre of the crossing of Sector 15 and 16 has not been filled up by the civic authorities making it dangerous for commuters, especially two-wheelers, to fall into it at night. The Municipal Corporation has failed to repair a majority of the spots, putting all residents at risk.

Road users face inconvenience due to farmers’ stir
Due to some medical emergency, I had to go to Hisar. While returning, half-an-hour journey took more than four hours, due to the farmers’ agitation, all highways and even village link roads were blocked. The traffic was held up everywhere. Policemen were nowhere to be seen. Finally, cars were allowed through single lane potholed link roads. The question is that it’s already more than nine months and for how long such a situation will carry on.

Bring Defence colony under MC jurisdiction
The new Defence colony located on the Rohtak road in Bhiwani town should be brought under the jurisdiction of the Municipal Council. The locality was developed nearly 50 years ago and is almost fully occupied. But the locality still is not getting the requisite civic amenities. I urge the administration to look into the demand of the residents of the locality.
