Bijli mahotsav from July 25-31

Chandigarh: In a series of programmes being organised under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, “Ujjawal Bharat, Ujjawal Bhavishya – Power @ 24×7” will be observed across the country, highlighting the achievements in the power sector in 75 years. Praveen Kumari is Kalanaur Municipal Committee chief

Rohtak: The Congress supported councillor, Praveen Kumari, managed to emerge victorious in the elections for the post of chairperson, Kalanaur Municipal Committee (MC), here on Wednesday. Praveen defeated BJP supported councillor Pinki by six votes. Kalanaur MLA Shakuntla Khattak and 15 councillors cast their vote in elections. Praveen got 11 while Pinki polled five votes.
