Praveen Kumari is Kalanaur Municipal Committee chief

Rohtak: The Congress supported councillor, Praveen Kumari, managed to emerge victorious in the elections for the post of chairperson, Kalanaur Municipal Committee (MC), here on Wednesday. Praveen defeated BJP supported councillor Pinki by six votes. Kalanaur MLA Shakuntla Khattak and 15 councillors cast their vote in elections. Praveen got 11 while Pinki polled five votes.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
