The Central University of Haryana (CUH) is set to organise its 10th convocation on July 22. President Droupadi Murmu would be the chief guest. She would award gold medals and degrees to the students who have completed their graduation and address them.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Tankeshwar Kumar said that 1,338 students and research scholars would be awarded PhD, MPhil, graduate and postgraduate degrees during the convocation.

He said, “Various committees have been formed for the preparations and smooth conduct of the convocation. We are discussing plans and preparations for the event.”

Controller of Examinations Professor Rajeev Kaushik said 65 PhD degrees, eight M Phil and 1,338 graduation and postgraduation degrees would be awarded.

He said, “Forty-six students will be awarded gold medals for excellence in academics. Under the UG courses, 192 students will get B Tech degree, 83 will get B Voc and 990 will get degrees for postgraduate courses.”
