In major reshuffle, Principal Secretary, Director (Sports) among 20 shifted

In a major administrative reshuffle, the state government on Sunday issued transfer and posting orders for 20 IAS officers, including five Deputy Commissioners (DCs), with immediate effect.

The reshuffle also saw the replacement of Principal Secretary Navdeep Singh Virk (IPS) and Director Sanjeev Verma (Sports Department). Their transfer comes close on the heels of the recent tragic incidents that claimed the lives of two minor basketball players in Rohtak and Bahadurgarh (Jhajjar).

Arun Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary to CM, will serve as Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, along with Member Secretary, Kurukshetra Development Board in addition to his present duty. Vijay Singh Dahiya, has been posted as Commissioner and Secretary, Sports Department, in addition to his present duties.

Amit Kumar Agrawal will hold the charge of Commissioner and Secretary, Heritage & Tourism Department, in addition to his present duties. He replaces IPS officer Kala Ramachandran who was posted as Principal Secretary, Heritage and Tourism.

Phool Chand Meena will serve as Chief Executive Officer, Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), in addition to his present duties.

J Ganesan has been assigned multiple charges including CEO, Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority; Director General, Housing for All, and Secretary, Housing for All Department; Chief Administrator, Housing Board; CEO, SPV for Haryana AI Development Project and Haryana Clean Air Project for Sustainable Development; Managing Director, HARTRON; and Managing Director, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited.

Ashok Kumar Meena, has been posted as Director General, Urban Local Bodies, and Director General, Foreign Cooperation Department. Ravi Prakash Gupta, will serve as Commissioner, Hisar Division.

Pankaj will serve as Secretary, Personnel, Training and Parliamentary Affairs Department; Inquiry Officer, Vigilance Haryana and Director General, Supplies and Disposals. Dr Aditya Dahiya has been posted as Managing Director of HSIIDC and Haryana Financial Corporation, besides continuing as Director, Department of Future.

Pardeep Kumar will serve as Director and special Secretary, State Transport. Amna Tasneem has been posted as Special Secretary, Home Department. Parth Gupta has been posted as Director (Sports); Director (Tourism) and Managing Director, Haryana Tourism Corporation.

Sangeeta Tetarwal will now serve as Director, New & Renewable Energy, and Secretary, Haryana State Commission for Scheduled Castes. Anish Yadav has been posted as Director, Development & Panchayats.

Vikram will serve as Managing Director, DHBVN. Among the Deputy Commissioners, Preeti has been posted as DC Yamunanagar, Mahender Pal DC Hisar. Ayush Sinha DC, Faridabad and Aparajita DC Kaithal. Pradeep Singh will serve as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Manesar.
