Pundri SHO suspended over negligence in duty during Deepender Hooda rally
Kaithal Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kalia has suspended Pundri SHO, Inspector Ram Niwas, following an alleged security breach during Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda’s rally at Karoda village of the district on Saturday.
The SP has also initiated a departmental inquiry against the suspended officer.
Confirming the suspension, Kalia said, “There is a specific procedure to be followed during the duty of VIPs using helicopters or any aircraft. There was a lapse in this procedure, due to which he has been suspended.”
As per the allegations, the breach occurred when people ran towards the aircraft as MP Deepender Hooda was about to board it.
