Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited Sirsa on Tuesday to offer condolences on the demise of former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala. He visited Teja Khera village in Dabwali to meet the grieving Chautala family. Present at the gathering were Chautala's brother Ranjit Singh, sons Ajay Singh and Abhay Chautala, grandsons Digvijay, Dushyant Chautala, nephew Aditya Devilal, and other dignitaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajnath praised Om Prakash Chautala's fearless and sensitive personality. "He followed the path of stalwarts like Sir Chhotu Ram, Chaudhary Charan Singh, and Chaudhary Devi Lal. I was deeply influenced by his boldness and honesty. His demise is a loss to all, and personally, it is a profound loss for me. I pray for peace for his soul," Singh said.

The Defence Minister highlighted Chautala's significant role in promoting anti-Congress ideology. He recalled Chautala's unwavering commitment as an NDA partner and his lifelong dedication to the cause of non-Congress politics.

He arrived at the Sirsa Air Force Station, where he was welcomed by ADC Lakshit Sareen, former Governor of Odisha Prof. Ganeshilal, and BJP officials.
