Inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Prof Rajbir Singh, the fest witnessed participation of students from 19 universities across Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi.

Folk songs, dance and fusion music presented by the participants in the fest conveyed the messages of cultural diversity and ‘Unity in Diversity’ to all present at the event.

Students Welfare Dean Prof Randeep Rana said the university had conferred the ‘Kala Rattan Samman’ award on six eminent arts and culture exponents — folk singers Prem Dehati and Gulab Singh Khandelwal, artiste Shakti Singh Ahlawat, vocal light musician Kailash C Verma, folk dancer and choreographer Prakash Malik, and folk culture expert Archana Suhasini.
