Kurukshetra University Vice Chancellor Som Nath Sachdeva said the four-day state-level Ratnawali Mahotsav will exhibit home-grown (swadeshi) products and self-reliant India model.

Department of Youth and Cultural Affairs, Kurukshetra University, is set to organise the state-level cultural festival Ratnawali from October 25 to 28.

Vice Chancellor Sachdeva said, “Along with this, the startup initiative will gain new strength through goods made by the university students.” DYCA Director Vivek Chawla said local delicacies will be promoted during the festival.

The Deputy Director of Public Relations Department, Dr Jimmy Sharma, added that this year, Haryanvi songs and Loor dance performance will be the highlights of Ratnawali’s opening ceremony. Dr Sharma said products made by the students of KU Tourism Department, Home Science Department and Institute of Integrated and Honours Studies (IIHS) will be the centre of attraction during the craft fair.
