Registration for kharif crops underway on Meri Fasal portal

Registration for kharif crops (2024) is currently underway on the Meri Fasal-Mera Byora (MFMB) portal. So far, 51,290 farmers in the district have registered 3,90,992 acres of land. Deputy Director of Agriculture Sukhdev Singh said crop registration was mandatory to avail the benefit of various agricultural schemes.

He said only those crops which are registered on the MFMB portal would be purchased at the government’s minimum support price (MSP). He advised the farmers to register their crops on the portal as soon as possible to avoid any inconvenience and to ensure the sale of crops at MSP.

He said the Haryana Government would soon close registrations as the sowing season for the kharif crop has nearly ended.

He said farmers must have a Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) ID to register their crops on the portal. For more information, farmers can contact toll-free No. 1800-180-2117 or their local agricultural office.

Farmers can also register their crops at village common service centres or Atal Seva Kendras or on the fasal.haryana.gov.in portal using their mobile phones. Dr Singh urged farmers to complete crop registration before the portal closed to take advantage of departmental schemes and sell their crops at the MSP for the maximum profit.
