Retiredd principals’ body to hold meet on pension-related issues in Yamunanagar

A meeting of Retired College Principals and Teachers Federation will be held at DAV Girls College, Yamunanagar, on December 8.

The convener of organising committee, Dr KR Bhardwaj, said the elections of office-bearers of RCPTF (Yamunanagar zone) would be held under the umbrella of the federation’s state executive and Yamunanagar zone’s organisation committee.

He said that there would be an in-depth discussion on various issues and demands relating to the retired community such as the payment of pension through treasury and providing medical facilities like their counterparts and many other problems faced by elderly retirees.

He further said federation’s state level leaders’ president Chaudhary, general secretary PR Tyagi and former principals SB Dixit and RR Malik, and other office-bearers would participate in the meeting.

He said all retired members of RCPTF Yamunanagar zone would also attend the meeting.

He said the meeting would be jointly chaired by former principals Sushma Arya and Ujjwal Sharma.
