The Director General of Police (DGP), Shatrujeet Kapur, today reviewed the security arrangements at the venue for the rally of PM Narendra Modi in Yamunanagar on April 14, and gave instructions to officers deployed in security for the peaceful conduct of the programme. He warned that any negligence in duty would not be tolerated.

The Inspector General of Police (Ambala Range), Sibash Kaviraj, said 75 entry gates would be set up for the smooth movement of the public in the programme to be held in Kail village of the district. As many as 51 gates will be reserved for women.

Deputy Commissioner Parth Gupta, SP Rajiv Deswal, DSP and police officers from other districts were also present to discuss routes leading to the venue, parking, seating plan, media entry, etc.

The IG said the Prime Minister would attend the foundation stone-laying ceremony of a supercritical power unit of Deen Bandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Plant.
