Road in pathetic condition

A stretch from Dhand road in Kaithal town to the local judicial complex and Mini-Secretariat is in a very bad state. Potholes cause a lot of inconvenience to road users, but neither the municipal council nor the local administration has cared to make this road motorable. While avoiding potholes, drivers meet with accidents. This matter had been brought to the notice of all those concerned, but to no avail. Residents demand that this road be repaired at the earliest. Waterlogging during monsoon

Encroachment of drain in Professor Colony in Yamunanagar is resulting in waterlogging during the monsoon. Water enters into the houses of people due to the lack of proper drainage system. Residents have to face a lot of problems and the water stagnation is a health hazard for them. The authorities should take steps to overcome the issue. Amit Batra, Yamunanagar

Marksheet with picture of another student

Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (KUK), issued its result-cum-detailed marks card (DMC) bearing number 000241 on July 10, 2020 to Sandeep Chauhan of Karnal (roll number 8628327 and registration number 10-DSK-781), a student of LLM (previous), for which the examination was held in December 2019. Surprisingly, it has a photo of another student. This shows the functioning of the university and how it is playing with the careers of students. KUK should rectify the mistake and immediately issue fresh result-cum-DMC to this student along with his photo. Shakti Singh, Karnal
