Earlier, an oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected councillors was held at the Canal Rest House campus here. Expressing his gratitude to the public, Valmiki said: “I will remain dedicated to public welfare work round the clock and strive to make life more convenient for the city residents. In collaboration with the Central and state governments, we will work towards bringing about significant changes in Rohtak. A roadmap has been created to make Rohtak the most beautiful and clean city in the state."

Congratulating the newly elected Mayor and councillors, Dhankar said the Municipal Corporation team should work together to transform Rohtak into a world-class city. “Special attention must be paid to cleanliness and environment, with the goal of positioning Rohtak as a beautiful and clean city on the global map. The team should develop a roadmap for the prosperous future of the people,” Dhankar said.

Panwar lauded the BJP’s performance in the civic bodies elections and praised Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for presenting a people-friendly Budget. Sharma said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working towards the vision of making India a developed nation by 2047. “Under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Haryana will make a significant contribution to this mission," he said.

Grover highlighted the improvement in the city's infrastructure, mentioning the construction of an elevated road from the old bus stand to Ambedkar Chowk. “To eliminate railway crossings in Rohtak city, the country’s first elevated railway track was also constructed. The newly elected Municipal Corporation team, along with officials, must work together to ensure Rohtak reaches the top position in cleanliness,” he concluded.
