The Rohtak Municipal Corporation authorities have launched a concerted campaign for their removal.

Dharmender Singh, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Rohtak, has warned the persons who have put up such advertisements to remove those within two days or be ready to face the music.

“Along with the fine, the expenses incurred on removing the advertisements will be recovered from those persons who do not get the publicity material removed within the next two days,” the Commissioner asserted, adding that FIRs would be registered against those who do not pay the fine.

He stated that enforcement teams of the Municipal Corporation have been deployed to take action against those who put up illegal hoardings/flexes, posters etc and this work is being constantly monitored.
