Taking a step towards environmental protection, Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) in Rohtak, has decided to observe every Wednesday as Green Day. Under this initiative, teaching, non-teaching and HKRN staff have been urged not to use vehicles within the university campus on Wednesdays.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Rajbir Singh said the university, known for its excellence in education and research, was also committed to fulfilling its social and environmental responsibilities.
