Yanshu Barak, a student of BTech (computer science engineering) at the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) of Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, has been selected as a Flying Officer in the Air Force.

Vice-Chancellor Rajbir Singh congratulated Yanshu on the achievement.

Singh said the achievement was not only a matter of pride for MDU, but also a source of inspiration for all students.

The university had always motivated students to work towards their all-round development, he added, stating that the achievement was an important step in this direction.

He also congratulated UIET teachers on the achievement.

Brigadier Harbir Singh (retd) and UIET Training and Placement Officer Arun Hooda wished Yanshu a bright future. Yanshu attributed his success to his family and teachers.
