Rs 2.5 lakh for deceased student’s family, aid for injured: Haryana CM on bus mishap

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini expressed grief over the bus collision in Kaliyawas village and conveyed his condolences to the family of the deceased student. To show the government’s support for the affected family, Saini approved immediate financial assistance of Rs 2.5 lakh for them. He also wished the 8 injured, who are currently receiving treatment, a speedy recovery and approved Rs. 50,000 as immediate financial aid for each of them, along with reimbursement of medical expenses.

“All buses of Haryana State Transport are insured and passengers can avail insurance coverage in any unforeseen situation. The officials concerned have been directed to ensure smooth processing of insurance claims for the affected families,” the CM added.
