Rs 367.42 crore credited to farmers’ accounts during kharif procurement

Over 5.9 lakh MT of paddy procured so far; 53,789 farmers get MSP payments

The Haryana Government has transferred Rs 367.42 crore directly into the bank accounts of farmers during the ongoing kharif procurement season 2025-26, ensuring that cultivators receive timely payments against the minimum support price (MSP).

Procurement is being carried out exclusively from farmers registered on the ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ portal. So far, paddy has been procured from 53,789 registered farmers across the state.

Providing details, a spokesperson of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department said 7,35,398.93 metric tonnes (MT) of paddy had arrived in mandis so far. Of this, 5,90,657.46 MT has already been procured, while 2,19,510.74 MT has been lifted from mandis in various districts.

Since procurement began on September 22, the Food and Civil Supplies Department has made the maximum purchases in the state, buying 3,48,132.68 MT of paddy. The Haryana State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation (HAFED) has procured 1,75,166.98 MT, while the Haryana State Warehousing Corporation has bought 67,357.78 MT.

“Paddy procurement in Haryana’s mandis and procurement centres is being jointly carried out by the Food and Civil Supplies Department, HAFED and the Haryana State Warehousing Corporation,” the spokesperson said.
