Rs 946 crore sanctioned for aviation hub in Hisar

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said the government had sanctioned a budget of Rs 946 crore for setting up the much-ambitious integrated aviation hub in Hisar.
The work for the second phase of the aviation hub is going on at a war footing which has been named as the Maharaja Agrasen International Airport. It is likely to be completed in three years.
The Deputy CM stated that the state government had been exploring the possibility of developing industries and commercial hubs along the vicinity of the aviation hub as about 10,000 acres were available in Hisar district. He said the expansion of the runway was going on at an approximated cost of Rs 164 crore.
