RTA Dept makes drivers aware about traffic rules

Officials of the Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Yamunanagar, conducted an awareness campaign to make drivers aware about traffic rules.

They also put reflector tapes on vehicles, so that road accidents could be averted in foggy weather.

Inspector of RTA Department Vikas Yadav said under the National Road Safety Campaign, people were continuously made aware about the traffic rules from January 1 to January 31.

He said under the campaign, they made the drivers aware about the traffic rules in Yamunanagar.

He further said the drivers should drive their vehicles carefully in the winter season.

“Reflector tapes should be put on the vehicles in the foggy season as it shines from a distance and helps in preventing accidents. Apart from this, the drivers should drive their vehicles only according to the white stripe put on the roads,” said Inspector Vikas Yadav.

He further said the drivers should not park heavy vehicles on the roads as the roadside parking often led to accidents.
