Haryana CM Nayab Saini inspects water works in Hisar

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini conducted a surprise inspection of the water works located on Kaimri Road here today. He enquired about the water supply system and inspected the cleanliness of the water tank.

He also visited the treatment plant within the water works. He said the Public Health Engineering Department must take all necessary steps to ensure that clean water reached every household.

Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Gangwa briefed the Chief Minister, stating that the existing 9 MLD (million litres per day) water treatment plant was old. In its place, a new 15 MLD plant had been installed, which was undergoing trial operations. The plant catered to 20 to 25 per cent of Hisar city’s population, he said.
