Samadhan shivirs: Hisar admn resolves 5,526 plaints

Hisar administration has resolved 5,526 grievances out of 7,853 in the Samadhan Shivirs (grievances redressal camps) being organised in the district.

The administration revealed that they had received 7,853 complaints since June 2024 under the Samadhan Shivirs that were launched by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini during his previous term. Most of the complaints were related to inaccuracies in the “Parivar Pahchan Patra”, besides the grievances related to water supply and drainage.

The administration spokesperson said of 7,853 complaints, 5,526 had been resolved, 1,750 were rejected by departments concerned, while 330 were pending. Additionally, 228 grievances were reopened at the request of complainants and 17 complaints were under consideration in various courts.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) C Jayashraddha shared this information during the state level meeting of the Samadhan Cell, chaired via video-conferencing by Excise and Taxation Commissioner and Secretary Asima Barar.

The ADC directed all department heads to prioritise the time-bound resolution of grievances received during these camps.

She said officers must deal with pending complaints with seriousness and Action Taken Reports (ATR) should be uploaded on the Samadhan Cell portal. City Magistrate Hariram, DSP Tanuj Sharma, District Development and Panchayat Officer Narender Singh, along with other departmental officials, took part in the meeting.

Yograj Sharma, who had submitted two complaints related to water supply issue in Patel Nagar and the need for installing electricity lights on the bypass near Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST), said water related issued had been resolved and he was waiting for resolution of his another complaint.
