A jungle safari is being organised in Seonsar forest by the Haryana Saraswati Heritage Development Board, for the first time in the International Saraswati Mahotsav.

The jungle Safari on Saturday was inaugurated by IPS (retired) RC Mishra.

Board’s vice-chairperson Dhuman Singh Kirmach said, “International Saraswati Mahotsav is being celebrated and a jungle safari has been started for the visitors. The forest spread over 11,000 acres is emerging as a tourist hub. There is a plan to develop it as a national-level tourist destination. The forest also connects Kurukshetra and Kaithal districts. An area will also be developed keeping in mind the convenience of the tourists so that they can see the beauty of nature closely. There are various kind of animals and locations in the forest to attract the tourists.”
