SDM holds surprise check at grain market in Dabwali

Dabwali Subdivisional Magistrate (SDM) Arpit Sangal on Wednesday conducted a surprise inspection of the local grain market to review the ongoing paddy procurement and lifting process.

Sangal directed officials to ensure that farmers did not face any inconvenience while selling their produce. He stressed that both procurement and timely lifting of paddy must be carried out efficiently to avoid chaos in the market. During the visit, the SDM also inspected basic facilities such as drinking water, electricity and cleanliness. He instructed officials to maintain all essential services for the farmers’ convenience.

Sangal warned that any negligence in procurement or lifting operations would not be tolerated. He urged officials to work in coordination to ensure a smooth and hassle-free procurement season. Market Committee secretary Sunil Kumar, Khayali Ram, and Rajdeep Singh from the Food and Supplies Department were also present during the inspection.
