SDM listens to complaints at grievance redressal camp in Hisar

DC encourages residents to take advantage of these camps for resolving their problems

A grievance redressal camp was held on Tuesday at the district auditorium located in the Mini-Secretariat, where SDM Jyoti Mittal listened to complaints and took measures to resolve the grievances.

In one case, the SDM directed the District Social Welfare Officer to investigate and submit an action-taken report (ATR) within two days regarding an application for a destitute pension by a resident of Balsamand village.

A schoolteacher, Chunni Lal, raised concerns over his daughter's pending medical bill clearance with the department. In response, the SDM directed the District Elementary Education Officer to provide an ATR within three days. Another complaint by Raghubir Chand, a resident of Urban Estate, Hisar, regarding the non-inclusion of his property in cooperative society records, was diverted to the Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies to resolve the issue and submit a report within three days.

Similarly, Suraj Bhan, a record keeper at the District Child Welfare Council, complained about pending arrears of his disability allowance. The SDM asked the District Child Welfare Officer to investigate and provide an ATR within three days.

Deputy Commissioner Anish Yadav encouraged residents to take advantage of these grievance redressal camps for resolving their issues. He said such camps were organised daily at the district and sub-divisional levels to facilitate prompt solutions and provide relief to citizens. The initiative reflects the administration's commitment to addressing public grievances efficiently and transparently, he said.
