SDM Loharu’s official vehicle catches fire

An official vehicle belonging to SDM Loharu, Manoj Kumar, caught fire near Khairdi Turn on the Rohtak-Bhiwani Road on Sunday. No injuries were reported in the incident.

According to sources, the SDM was returning to Loharu after meeting a senior official there when the air-conditioning system of the SUV malfunctioned near Khairdi Turn. The driver stopped the vehicle to inspect the issue.

While checking the engine, smoke began to emanate, prompting the SDM to immediately exit the vehicle. Moments later, the car caught fire.

Passersby noticed the flames and gathered at the scene. Police and fire personnel arrived shortly thereafter and managed to douse the flames, but by then, the vehicle was severely damaged.

After the incident, SDM Manoj Kumar and the driver returned to Loharu in another vehicle. The exact cause behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.
